Bysiewicz Forms Exploratory Committee

(Hartford) - Today, Connecticut Secretary of the State Susan Bysiewicz announced that she has filed papers to form an exploratory committee for statewide office.  The new committee is called Friends of Susan 2010, Inc; Attorney Jason Doucette of Manchester is the Treasurer for the committee.

Through this committee, Secretary Bysiewicz will explore a potential run for Governor in 2010.  In forming the exploratory committee, Bysiewicz said, "With the severe challenges facing our state and nation, the people of Connecticut are craving bold, visionary leadership and innovation from their elected officials.  The formation of an exploratory committee will enable me to explore how best to utilize my talents and record of accomplishment to improve the lives of Connecticut's residents."
